Tetra CO2 Optimat - carbon dioxide system

Directions for use:

•  Place the spraying tube about 5-15 cm below the water level in the aquarium. The membrane should point upwards.
•  Note that the spraying tube is full of water before the CO2 feed. The hose included in the delivery is pressed onto the free nozzle beneath the membrane and connected to the coupling head of the dosing head of the CO2 depot.
• First, leave the CO2 spill pipe connected to the CO2 depot empty in the tank for a few hours (best at night). Then, with a gentle pressure on the CO2 dosing head, fill the sparger tube with carbon dioxide. Dosage is done exceptionally. Carbon dioxide is scattered in the aquarium water.
•  You will know that there is a CO 2 in the spraying tube in that with the entry of CO2, the water level in the spraying tube drops. After the sprinkler tube is filled, the water is completely pushed out of the tube. As a rule, filling is sufficient once or twice a day.
•  Potentially bleeding the spraying tubing, rotate it under the water so that the exhaust gases (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) that are formed by CO2 can be discharged.
• In case of contamination or damage to the membrane, it can be cleaned or damaged. Replaced by removing the upper clamping ring.
• The CO2 depot must be disconnected from the hose connection only above the water level so that no water can escape. Therefore, always pay attention to the strength of the hose connections.
