Wooden air diffusers produce particularly fine bubbles. They are highly durable and made from lime wood. Often used in salt-water aquaria they are ideal for use with protein skimmers.
The modern coral reef aquarium has a salinity of 3.2-3.5% This is equivalent to a salt volume of approx. 34g/l. The salt density in the salt water aquarium is thus 1.023-1.025 at a temperature of 23-25C. Dissolve with an agitating water movement the relevant amount of salt in a container, with gentle water movement, until the solution is clear. A 14-day water replacement cycle with Dupla Marin Premium Salt of 5-10% ensures constantly favourablewater quality in the salt water aquarium. With initial set-up the first animals should only be introduced after a few weeks, once the biological run-in-phase of the aquarium is complete.
